The goal of the DBEP is to support the National Development Plan goal to achieve universal nine-year basic education that serves the needs of poor and marginalized people and is responsive to local needs. The purposes of DBEP project are improve poor children’s participation, transition completion, and performance in nine year basic education in Bali and Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB) and Nusa Tenggara Timur (NTT); improve the quality of basic education in DBEP target schools by means of implementation of SBM (School Based Management); implement school-based management (SBM); and support districts in Bali, NTB and NTT in decentralized basic education management. The project component’s comprise of School Development Component in order to helps schools prepare School Development Plans (SDP) and makes School Development Funds (SDF) available to implement the Plans; District Education Development Component with the aim of to build the capacity of the people, organizations and the overall system to develop and deliver quality education programs, and effectively manage the overall education system. Under this component, districts prepare a Five-Year District Education Development Plan (DEDP); and Monitoring and Evaluation Component that supports the systematic monitoring of the School Development and the District Education Development components in Program and Financial Compliance, Progress and Performance Monitoring, and Benefit Evaluation |
